Community, Communication and Collaboration
Transnational cooperation is always a challenge BUT: of course it is also a wonderful opportunity to learn about about different cultures, landscapes, regions and approaches.
In this area of the website PROGRASS will offer communication services for its members and for interested stakeholders from European regions since especially the internet offers a lot of great opportunities to bridge the geographical and cultural gaps.
In the first place we offer a PROGRASS community which allows not only members of PROGRASS but also intersted persons to join our community and to exchange with the PROGRASS stakeholders
We already use synchronous conferencing software to communicate with each other and we offer this communication instrument also for people or organisations interested to join our network and to apply our PROGRASS approach.
In due time we will offer so called asynchronous web-tools like a PROGRASS blog and a PROGRASS WIKI as a growing knowledge pool for topics related to NATURA 2000 grassland conservation and energy production.
Network Partners
PROGRASS follows a community oriented approach.
It is our vision that diverse stakeholders (ranging from research, agriculture, public administrations and Governments, politics, investors and of course the public) from different European regions join in a network to disseminate and propagate best practice to conserve NATURA2000 areas with the help of PROGRASS approach.
For this purpose we will set the standards for good practice and set up a professional, safe and objective procedure to plan, calculate and invent energy production from abandoned grasslands.
We are convinced that the interdisciplinary approach is our strength – that’s why we started PROGRASS with a transnational team of grassland researchers and practicioners, mechanical engineers, economists, project managers and public relation and communication experts.
If you want to know more about us and the opportunities to join the team (and maybe to start your PROGRASS project in your region don’t hesitate to contact us – here.
